After Hours Care

Your child woke up feeling under the weather, or they suffered a sprain while playing after-school sports. When your child suffers a sudden injury or illness, you could be left scrambling to quickly get your child the care they need.

The practice offers after hours care to established patients every day after the offices close. When you can’t bring your child in during regular office hours, the team works with you to ensure that your children get the prompt treatment they need, when they need it.

Valley of the Sun Pediatrics has after hours appointments available every weekday after 5:30pm. Call the office during regular office hours to schedule an apointment.

After hours care is by appointment only. If your child faces a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

After hours care is ideal for acute injury, illness, and other issues that come up unexpectedly and need prompt care. Consider scheduling an after-hours appointment if you can’t get to the pediatrician during the day, and your child has:

• Acute illnesses, like the flu or strep
• Allergies
• Ear infections
• Fevers
• Lacerations
• Sprains or strains
