Meet Our Staff

Our team is dedicated to making your entire experience at Valley of the Sun Pediatrics a pleasant one.

Terese - Billing Administrator

Terese joined Valley of the Sun Pediatrics in the spring of 2010.  She has been working in the medical field for over 18 years, specializing in medical billing.  She is a native of Arizona and grew up in Peoria.  She is happily married with two wonderful children; both girls are active in dance.  In her spare time she enjoys shopping, reading, watching TV, and spending time with her family and friends.

Courtney - Medical Assistant

Courtney joined Valley of the Sun Pediatrics in April of 2010.  She graduated from the Bryman School in October 2008 as Valedictorian of the Medical Assisting Program. Prior to working at VOTSP, she worked for two years in Family Medicine.  She was born in Phoenix and has lived her whole life in Arizona.  Her only child at this time is a Piebald Daschund whose name is Frank.   She enjoys traveling and spending time at the lake with her friends and family.  She also enjoys shopping and vacationing at the beach.

Maria - Medical Assistant

Maria started as a Medical Assistant at Valley of the Sun Pediatrics in the spring of 2010.  She has worked in Pediatrics since graduating from Kaplan College in 2008, and in those years also worked alongside Dr. Hineman.  She is attending school and working on her R.N. degree.  Maria is happily married and also has a dog named Precious.  She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the movies, shopping and is also a big fan of basketball.

Becky - Front Office and Medical Assistant

Becky joined Valley of the Sun Pediatrics in the fall of 2010 after graduating from Providence Training Institute. Prior to working at VOTSP she taught pre-school for 8 years at Joy Christian School. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas and has lived in the valley for 9 years now. She is married with two beautiful girls Kaitlin and Emily. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her kids, go shopping and sing karaoke.

Nancy - Front Office

Nancy joined Valley of the Sun Pediatrics in fall of 2011. She is a native of Arizona and grew up in the Northwest Valley. She is blessed with two beautiful girls. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her girls and family - cooking, playing games, vacationing in San Diego or simply just hanging out. She attends CCV and is active in her neighborhood church group.

Sue - Front Office

Sue joined Valley of the Sun Pediatrics in January of 2012. She was born and raised in Minnesota. She drove with a friend to Arizona in 1984 and has lived in Arizona ever since. She is married and has a teenage son and daughter. Her family enjoys spending time with each other every Sunday to watch the Arizona Cardinals. She attends CCV, and is also an event planner and loves to cook and entertain. She also enjoys traveling.
